I wish that I could shut my brain off and fade away.
But when I’m left untethered, my mind wanders to a darker place.

I feel like motel art, I don’t really add much.
But if I were gone you might notice me missing for a month at best before I am replaced.
Familiar scenery with a different face

I am bad news
A poor investment through and through.
Don’t waste your time on me.
I will only let you down.

I feel the weight of the world and I don’t give a shit.
Hate waking up every morning ‘cause I am sick of it.
They say to pray it away, tell me to medicate.
I don’t need advice I just need to dissociate.

I promise you I’ll never go out like that.
I’ll hide the body, but I’ll draw you a map.
I’ve thought this through. The cable is tied.
It may not look it, but I am dead inside.

I am bad news
